Typed 'soul food' into maps @ 730pm on a Sunday and drove over, hoping for the best. A quick skim of the menu offered rotisserie chicken, collar' greens and candied yams. I asked for a sample of the greens to see if they was hittin' or not. The gentleman at the counter obliged me, and they was on point. Ordered the plate with chicken, greens, red beans and yellow rice, candied yams. They served me a tasty spin on Soul Food' with it's African, Caribbean and South American roots. Thanks Brassa for the yummy food, exceptional service and late hours on Sunday.

They had amazing food here. I had the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and it was great. Loved the bacon and the chicken salad. The atmosphere of the place was great as well. The place is also extremely convenient to get to by bike it is right along the Bryant Avenue Bike path and the 46th street bike lanes and is also pretty to get to by transit as it is just a 3 minute walk from both the Route 4 bus and the Route 46 bus

Great discovery, I never imagine that I will be getting the Best Rotisserie Chicken on MN in this joint. The taste is just AMAZING... Exactly like they describe, Carribean style and I can warranty that... Coming from Puerto Rico this is exactly the flavor of the Carribean... The service also was amazing and the rice and beans, the Arroz con Gandules, well everything was delicious. recommended...

Roasted pork bowl with yellow rice, over-easy egg, spicy creamed spinach, crispy onions and red sauce was a favorite. The green sauce is so good too and I was grateful they gave me a side of it. Our server (I believe named Seven) was fantastic. Great, casual place to eat or grab to go.

One of my favorite restaurants in all of MN. The pork bowl is incredible. Yuca fries and fried plantains are enough even with a half order, even though you'll want to keep eating them. Their sauces never cease to amaze. The lemonade feels pricey until you taste it, and then you realize it is worth it every time.

Brasa has been one of my favorite restaurants for over a decade! My partner and I would go to the downtown location for date nights before me moved to Chicago. Now that we are moving back to Minneapolis I can say that having Brasa #3 within walking distance was a consideration when making an offer on our new place near lake Harriet ;) the meal was fantastic and just like I rembered 3 glad to see that even after all this time the Brasa formula still holds strong. Yucca and their green sauce is sooo good. And the cooked meats and ample sides make for leftovers almost every time. Can’t wait to be a regular again.

I had never heard of this place until we pulled up along side it. Definitely a casual dining experience with the openish kitchen and choose your own seating. Simple menu. We got a fried fish bowl with grits and greens, a pork bowl with rice and spinach, a romaine salad to share and 2 glasses of wine. The meal cost under 60 and we got our food quickly. Everything we had was delicious, the service was good and prompt and the staff was friendly. Will definitely be back!

We had the huevos rancheros bowl and the arroz con pollo bowl and a piece of cornbread. These items were both well-seasoned, and filling. I want to try the catfish bowl next time. The service-included pricing is very refreshing. The atmosphere was worthy of a date night. The sidewalk seating is a nice asset as well.
